Organizational DNA is a key tool that allows us to get to know the thinking and emotions of all employees in relation to their workplace. It is a fundamental tool for building an organization's personnel strategy. This strategy should aim to manage development and work organization in such a way that employees are motivated to do their best and be satisfied with their jobs. Our questionnaire may play the function of an employee satisfaction questionnaire, organizational culture questionnaire or organizational climate questionnaire.
In creating the Organizational DNA questionnaire we focused on three main premises:
First, every organization is unique. Therefore, the questionnaire must be adapted to specific organizational needs on a regular basis. Prior to the use of the questionnaire, we must visit the client and conduct an in-depth interview.
Second, in every organization, there are two basic information channels: formal and informal. We must know the possible discrepancies between the two in order to develop a sensible solution. Therefore, we do everything in order to provide employees with comfort and anonymity, even if it means limiting our further analyses.
Third, organizational behavior is caused by thought schemas, which spread like viruses. Therefore, our purpose is to identify the characteristic set of schemas in a given group of employees.
