If you take a strip of paper and join both ends with a single half-twist you will receive Möbius strip. It is a geometric figure with interesting characteristics. One of them is that when you take a small sector of the strip it seems to have two sides: head and bottom. But when you try to draw a line around the strip by your finger you will notice that you can touch both sides and the line that meets the starting point will have double length of the original paper. For me Möbius strip is a symbol of a holistic approach. I think, that if we see some contradictions it is because we take too narrow perspective. In a broader context everything is sensible and makes sense. While diagnosing organizations we try to look at them from a holistic perspective.
