Ryszard Stocki, Ph. D. (b. 1960) Assistant Professor of Organisational Psychology at the Jagiellonian University. I have also received an International Certificate in Learning and Development from the Thames Valley University (London). I have conducted research in almost 100 Polish companies and non-profit organizations. This research concentrates on managerial and organizational cognition, business and managerial literacy, ownership culture, business maturity and customer relationship management. In 1993 I founded Ryszard Stocki Associates - a consultancy specializing in organizational diagnosis, managerial workshops and change management. It has offered its services to many for-profit and non-profit organizations including the “Solidarity” Trade Union, Wawel Royal Castle Museum, BP Poland, BASF Poland, URSA and many smaller Polish companies. In 2002 I published the book “Managing the Goods,” which proposes an alternative approach to management based on a personalist concept of human being, in the place of 'homo oeconomicus.' In 2005 I published the book “Organizational Pathologies.” Privately I have 7 children, enjoy skiing, dancing and folk music.
